Pondicherry

The Sri Aurobindo Ashram founded by Sri Aurobindo in 1926 and Auroville (10km from Pondicherry) with its spiritual experience, draw people from all over the world to this charming little town.   

 

 
Melmaruvathur

The basic tenet of Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Siddhar Peetam is "One Mother, One Humanity", means the whole human race is one and all the human beings who inhibit this vast earth are children of Mother Goddess and therefore there is no distinction amongst the human beings on any basis, be it religion, race, creed, community, caste or even gender.The main objective for which the Siddhar Peetam strives is "the cult of Sakthi"that is, the whole humanity is born of one omnipotent Mother and hence the whole humanity is one, should be upheld, and each ane everyone's grievances should be removed. 

 
Gingee Fort

Gingee Fort also known as Chenji or Senchi in Tamil Nadu, India. we come to know that Gingee was under the authority of Kopnnarayer during the 14th Century A.D. Historians hold the opinion that Kopannarayr, one of the Generals of Vijayanagar empire helped Kampannarayan, with a large army. In return, Kampannarayan handed Gingee over to Kopannarayer. 

 

 
Tiruvannamalai

The temple town of Tiruvannamalai is one of the most ancient heritage sites of India and is a center of the Saiva religion. The Arunachala hill and its environs have been held in great regard by the Tamils for centuries.
